About Hillview Paints & Quarter Horses

Our breeding program began in 1985 with a true black Quarter Horse stallion Prairie Bon Tex. Dusty had an unusually smooth gait and great temperment. He produced many quality off spring for both ourselves as well as our customers. His foals were found doing everything from Ranch Work to Dressage. We still have some of his daughters among our Paint brood mares.

We have found there are many quality Paint and Quarter Horse Breeders throught Saskatchewan and much of their breeding can be found in our mares. We are continually working to develop both Performance and Pleasure horses that can be widely used and shown.

We have a special interest in breeding black genetics into our stock while at the same time working at maintaining and breeding quality into them as well. As we continue our breeding program we will be selling some of our mares that are not providing black in their off spring so watch for some of these mares coming up on our For Sale page. As well we will be offering some yearling and 2yr old prospects for sale as well.
